Lethal Contradiction

USA Today: 'We will stay, we will fight and we will win'
President Bush responded Wednesday to calls for the withdrawal of U.S. troops from Iraq with an emphatic vow to stay there "until the terrorists have nowhere to run."

The Mercury News: Explosion of violence kills 39 on eve of constitution vote
[Hard-line Sunni cleric] Qubeisi said the Sunni group and Sadr agreed that no political process would be successful as long as U.S. troops remained in Iraq.

Meanwhile, Alex and Ella are returning to Camp Casey in Crawford, TX for the third (!) time - this time Dad gets to go, too. Watch for video of their first two trips next week on Minnesota Stories.

Hey, good news. Did you see the national jobless rate went down again. Oh wait, I'm sorry, wrong blog. This is the blog of the 4 wisemen who stroke each others ego's daily. Thankfully the majority of Americans see right thru the invisible men.

"We will stay, we will fight, we will win."

And yet there's no military solution.

Irony: still dead.

You know commander, its that kind of defeatist attitude and thinking small that probably kept you from reaching 06. (And kept you from flying the real combat aircraft.)

Say what you want about the military placement exams, but they do seem to do a pretty good job at spotting the guys who should in supporting roles instead of warriors.

What do you expect Censored, The patriot is the doom and gloom party. Well, 4 guys and a retired commander I guess. Please commander, share what insight you have that they don't have a strtegy. please share with us how you would deal with roadside bombs and terrorist. I'm sure you have experienced this first hand. oh wait, you were probably on a boat.

Censored, for what it's worth, I turned down O-6 to live a life I could, uh, live with.

Thanks for the good news, Eric. Glad to see your new positive attitude, even though it has nothing to do with this post.

If you're looking for sunshine and lies about Iraq, try a right-wing blog hey? Don't you see that the 2 items i posted above contradict each other, and spell further trouble? Typical, turning a blind eye to reality. I'm glad the jobless rate went down, but that doesn't help dead soldiers, does it?

Well, defeatist Jeff aside (again.) Let me clarify this for you lefties.

You see W says we're going to stay, fight and win. He did NOT say we're going to seek a nuanced poltical solution that only prolongs the ability of terrorist to bring influence to bear.

Then some guy says that he can't successful promote his extreamist agenda because we're there. This is EVIDENCE, no a contradiction.

EVIDENCE of... no end in sight?

Seriously, what the hell does "stay and win" mean exactly?
