Make the Pie Higher

Since it's not only tax day but the dead center of the cruellest month, I'll post a classic 2002 poem by George W. Bush, more relevant now than ever:

I think we all agree, the past is over.
This is still a dangerous world.
It's a world of madmen and uncertainty
and potential mential losses.

Rarely is the question asked
Is our children learning?
Will the highways of the Internet become more few?
How many hands have I shaked?

They misunderestimate me.
I am a pitbull on the pantleg of opportunity.
I know that the human being and the fish can coexist.
Families is where our nation finds hope, where our wings take dream.

Put food on your family!
Knock down the tollbooth!
Vulcanize society!
Make the pie higher! Make the pie higher!

This is kindof a non-sequiter, but I just want people to know that kind of hate mail I get on a daily basis. It's all posted here, verbatim.

Yikes! Although the Malkin-hate is larded over with some pretty despicable woman-hate ain't it? At least you haven't yet gotten death threats from John Denver fans.

The most bizarre and thorough hatemail I've ever recieved came from the founder of my first communal blog, though.

Me, I've never written a single hate-mail in my life, though I bet I'd be pretty good at it.
