Autopsy reports reveal homicides of detainees in U.S. custody

There's 44 deaths detailed there.

There were not that many characterized as homicide. (Only 8.) It includes both Iraq and Afghanistan.

Now I'm not excusing these crimes, they should be fully investigated and those involved tried.

But if you consider the huge volume of prisioners involved in both countries over the years, I gotta tell you, while 8 is 8 too many, its not a bad track record either.

Yes, those darn bad apples at work again, huh? 8's not bad?

What kind of a person would kill somebody in custody (and therefore completely defenseless) anyway?

Hey, maybe when some of these bad apples get back to the world, they'll become cops and in a long string of cooincidences, pull you over one night and show you what they learned in the 'stan. Wouldn't that be ironic?

Get some perspective.

I'm not sure how investigated/brought to trial = turned loose to convert traffic stops to murder, but its amusing that you do.
