The Propagannon Cycle

One of the so-far overlooked aspects of the Jeff Gannon saga is his role in the defeat of Senator Tom Daschle in South Dakota. There is a considerable amount of evidence that Gannon was used as an opposition research dumping ground by the Thune campaign. Once published on Talon "News," this oppo was then cycled into the mainstream media via Thune's paid-for bloggers and the right-wing media echo chamber. So closely did the Thune campaign work with Gannon, that an FEC complaint was filed. That decision could have a profound impact on the political blogosphere as a whole.

Based on the Nashua Advocate's excellent piece Credible Evidence Emerges That Jeff Gannon Coordinated With the G.O.P. to Bring Down Former Senate Minority Leader Tom Daschle (D-SD) in 2004 Election, I've created the following diagram (in the spirit of Uggabugga -- don't miss her Gannon graphic) to express what the "Propagannon Cycle" might've looked like.

It'll never get better until you recognize and deal with the real problem.

The real reason Thune beat Daschle was because Thune had enough poll watchers to prevent Daschle from continuing the voter fraud that got him there in the first place.

Its amazing that when Gannon was working Talon was nothing, insignificant but now the right can't find enough things to blame on it.

The reason for failure is within, its not some guy that is trying to balance out the MSM liberal bias.

I've been wondering what the Dead Pool has to say on the Gannon-Guckert character. This guy knows too much, is too wigged out, has demonstrated a willingness to blab, and is going to be floating face down in the Chesapeake the moment he turns on his handlers.

I just want the chance to wager five bucks on when.

Seems remarkable to me that for being such a dismal reporter, Gannon scooped the South Dakota papers on facts they should have been reporting.

New Patriot: Are you suggesting that Daschle's DC residency was not something South Dakotan's should know about?

Ichabod -

I stand corrected. Thank you. To reiterate, the LEFT can't find enough things to blame on Talon News.
