Westboro Baptist Church "Love" Crusade Tonight!

"Reverend" Fred Phelps' merry band of nutballs are scheduled to picket the Eden Prairie High School graduation tonight at 7pm at Northrop Auditorium. In their words it's a "fag-infested" ceremony. Oh joy. You've just got to love how these losers spread God's love. Ugh.

There is an interesting debate on http://www.dumpbachmann.blogspot.com/ about this group of crazies and MB

Boy... these folks scare me, to have that much vehement, violent, bile laden hate...

I just hope they don't get tired of their pickets and protests and decide to do something a little more proactive for the lord...

WHAT KIND OF 'LOVE' ARE THESE PEOPLE TALKING ABOUT? ALL YOU
READ ABOUT THEM IS THIER 'HATE' FOR
ANYTHING THAT THEY SEEM TO FEAR.
DIDN'T JESUS SAY TO FORGIVE OUR
BROTHERS AND WE SHOULD SHOW THEM
HOW CHRISTIANS LIVE. DO CHRISTIANS
SHOW UP AT FUNERALS OF DEAD SOLDIERS PROTESTING??? ONLY MAKING
THE FAMILY HURT MORE THAN THEY ALREADY ARE??? THIS DOES NOT SOUND LIKE CHRISTIANITY TO ME....

It's not Christianity. Christ, while never endorsing sin, never condemned the sinner, meaning He loved them unconditionally. Does that mean all people are Christians? No, but it does mean we are all sinners, and sin is sin - all of it separates us from God. Christ's message of love was intended to woo us back to Himself, that we would love Him in return. His offer is eternal life, the cost? Faith in Christ.
These "christian" give the rest of us a bad name
