Oh, come on - national universal health care isn't going to keep the Bushes and Cheneys rich! Why, it's just crazy talk!
Actually, you'd think the conservatives (or republicans, since that moniker is more appropriate) would be in favor of people having tax-paid health care. That would free up lots of us who long to start businesses but cannot due to us losing our health care if we leave our jobs. We could be growing the size of the economy by having that safety net. And the people they are afraid of abusing the system already do, so that likely would not get any worse...
I agree - it just makes sense.
