Check out today's Minnesota Story: 7 Days in New Orleans. A paramedic from MN spent a week in New Orleans. He says the violence is actually worse than you've heard. He was in awe of the military, and even engaged in some small talk with the Bush girls.

Off topic, but why do you like it when links open in new windows?
If I wanted the link to open in a new window, I'd open it in a new window...

why do you hate freedom so much? ;-)
we don't have right-click on a Mac. we have Command-click, but average users don't ever do that. so yes, i inflict my new window fascism. it is i who hates your freedom.
Sounds like you need a Mighty Mouse, friend.
I've had a right button for ages, of course it was attached to a Logitech mouseman, but whatever.
I like it when links open up in new windows so I can easily navigate back to my original page - which, in these tired days of spam monkeys, flash applications general sheiser loaders is not always easy to do via the back button.
