One thing I can never understand, and that I have never seen answered by the right in a rational way (yet but my ears are open): in this country formed by free thinkers for the purpose of free thinking why are those of us capable of it are bashed for doing it.
Protest is the right of any civilian who doesn’t agree with the direction the country is going in, isn’t it in the Constitution? I protest you, you protest me but don’t protest the protesting, that’s just wrong thinking. Am I right? I have a sister in law who say “but in times of war we need to support our leadership” And damned if I’ve been able to convince her that times of war when our systems are most in peril that is the most important time to stand up and say what you believe, the country’s going hard to starboard now and the result will be a hard to port adjustment and I’m sure a few men will go overboard. With out the left the right would just spin in a circle, we’re here to temper each other into a straighter course. Hoo, I’m sinking in my metaphor now. Enough with the hyperbole already, it just doesn’t make sense anymore. Do your duty one and all, and answer when your conscience calls.
