There is no excuse for this, NONE. He should be shot.
Not only did he take the money away from defense that was needed in war time, he took it from you and I, to say nothing of all the money that was diverted to his "special interests."
That's money that wasn't spent on readiness, body armor, ammo, ordinance and uparmored vehichles.
10 years?!? Hanging is too good for him.
To paint the whole GOP with this brush is like painting all the Dems with Trafficant. Its nonsense.

I hope he cooperates with investigators to nail the crooked defense contractors who bribed him. They are criminals as well.
Military-industrial corruption wise, I suspect we'll find that this is just the tip of the iceberg.
It would seem that Harry Reid and Byron Dorgan are also "pigs" at the "trough".

I am sad for Cunningham; I interviewed him once, he was a great man. I still hope they throw the book at him.
