Who the Hell is Robert Fitzgerald?
Robert Fitzgerald has announced that he is running for Mark Dayton's US Senate seat. And just who is Robert Fitzgerald? Surely you've heard of him? No? Well, uh, I probably wouldn't know who he was either had my wife not graduated from high school with him. He's an independent candidate from Fergus Falls and though his website doesn't provide a lot of information as to where he stands on the issues, I already like him much better than Mark Kennedy.

I'm really intrested to see where he plans to find a million dollars. I'm a leader in the Independence Party and although it appears our candidate will be a good fund raiser $1 million would be a pretty optemistic goal, a complete unknown running with no party can would be lucky to raise more then the average non incumbent candidate for city council.
I also went to high school with Robert. What I remember he caused a big fiasco the spring before graduation. He went on strike because he refused to complete detention for creating an alternate school newspaper. He made a good example of protecting the right of freedom of speach.
"I already like him much better than Mark Kennedy" - that cracks me up!

Jack Uldrich, the vice chair of the IP has a great article on the IP homepage called Breaking the Barrier. I've also had the opportunity to speak with the IP chair Jim Moore and IP Operations Director Dave Hutcheson about this campaign. Both were very supportive and provided great information. I recognize the great resource that the Independence Party is for Minnesotans.
And remember... a vote for Fitzgerald, is a vote for me!
Hey I know Robert, He has been in the Local Fergus Falls News Paper. He loves his pinball machines and who would be better to have run For office than a Man who Loves Pinball. I also understand that he has not one but two busses that he converted from Desiel to recycled Vegetable oil for fuel. Very Impressive he is going after the Tree huggers for votes too. Where do I stand on Robert Fitzgerald today. I'm about to join the Fitzgerald for Senate campaigns and do my best to raise that Million dollars which should be more then enough to win this race.
