Be careful with your funnies

Secret Service visits "Annie," a LiveJournal user who made satirically threatening remarks about President Bush after the debates.

The real absolute scum part of this - an LJ commenter reported the (now deleted) post to the FBI. Gee, what a terrific use of our intelligence agency. Maybe I should go back and review our snarky post-debate commentaries before some jerkoff (ahem) reports me to the FBI.

Er, the Secret Service's policy has *always* been to investigate *every* threat on the President, real or perceived, serious or satirical. If they don't and the president gets kacked (calm down), it's their fault. They don't have much sense of humor.

And they will be the same way if your guy wins.

I really don't need or want Eminem on my side. And Leonardo diCaprio came to MN yesterday to support Kerry? Why do we have all these lame celebrities? I guess it could be worse...I'm talking to you, Darryl Worley.

G3: True, but do you knwo how many people jokingly threat the president every single day? The thing that sticks in my craw is that some jerk would sick the FBI on this teen girl journaler. Besides being borderline evil, it's an abuse of our already overextended security and intelligence capabilities.

JC: Yeah... but did you watch it?

Chuck: nope, but I'll try to do that tonight. Refrain judgment until I've seen it and all that jazz. Still: Eminem = *yyyeeeccchhhhhh*

On the bright side, he's sure to reach a lot of potential voters (although, potentially a lot of underage non-voters as well).

I dunno, in terms of musical/verbal talent (not to mention entertainment) I'll take Eminem over Michael Stipe any day...

Yeah, and Eminem is better than Mase, that still doesn't mean he's good.

(After the election this site will focus entirely on pitting rapper vs. rapper until a clear winner has been decided upon).
