From kidnapping to ethnic cleansing...
The Washington Post has obtained a memo from the US Embassy that paints a very different picture of progress. The bright side is that at least they are trying not to lie to themselves. The downside is that they continue to lie to us.

Who lied to you Chris? The politicians, the media, The little man on the moon? Who exactly has told you that everything is fine and dandy,and smells like roses in Iraq? I must have missed that press conference. The last time i saw bush speaking about Iraq i heard words like "alot of work yet to be done, We have to get a control on the insurgents, we need to be better getting basic services up and running." I didn't get the feeling he was lying, but whatever.
