Why are conservatives so angry?
This one's for the conservatives in the audience. Help me out.
Why are y'all so angry all the time? If it's not one thing, it's another...you're mad at Nick Coleman, the "MSM", labor unions, DemoRATS, civil rights activists, France, socialists (all 12 of them)...
What's your issue? You just won a tight election that validated your world view, you control all three branches of government, made gay marriage illegal in a dozen states, you've got this awesome war against evil, or Islamofascism, or whatever, that's going really well. And hell, most of you are rich (I'm looking at the Powerline guys, here.).
And yet, the anger. Always with the anger.
I think y'all should chill out. Maybe watch some movies, indoctrinate your kids about the evils of collective bargaining, take a vacation. Maybe look into some anti-anxiety medication (your doctor can help you out with that one).
Don't worry, W's got your back.

I'm a conservative and what makes me angry is people like you who paint with a broad brush. I don't give a shit who you marry, could care less what nick coleman thinks about anything. The ACLU has a purpose, and maybe if they weren't wasting there time sueing every 500 population town to remove a plaque from a wall they could actually work on whats important to the people. France: Didn't care what they thought about us before iraq, Why would I care now. If I may give a current example of what makes me angry: Pawlenty came out yesterday with some education funding plans or ideas if you will. I haven't read it all, but what is the first thing you hear from the dems in this state. It should be more, it's the least he could do, it's a bad idea. The funny thing Is where is there proposal. The last couple years it seems the just sit and wait for the repubs to bring ideas to the floor and spend there energy tearing them down. Don't get me wrong, both parties can take blame for being worthless pieces of shit, and that's what really makes me angry.

The really cool part is we all have really good health insurance to pay for the Dr and prescription benefits for the the pills. So despite being rich we don't even really have to pay for them!
The problem with vacations is putting up with Chuckleheads like you. I mean, I understand someone has to wait on the table, but I don't like it. Couldn't we get some of those Eastern European chicks to immigrate? Some of them are pretty hot.
Maybe its that not working in Food Service they have no opportunity to take out agression by spitting on someone's hamburger?
Anxiety drugs...now there's an idea for our friends of the "oppressed majority". I hear Rush Limbaugh can hook you megadittos up with some pills if you can't get a prescription. (He's ammassed quite the stash...)
I was thinking maybe you could broaden your horizons. You wouldn't have to put up with the likes of me. The Carribean is very nice this time of year.

I'm angry because of that damn liberal media! Liberals like Rupert Murdoch and Sumner Redstone just hate America. Look at the way they covered the run up to the war in Iraq. I think I saw someone from the State Department talking on CNN (in between "Shock and Awe" graphics) saying that we didn't have a plan to win the peace. Can you believe the MSM giving a voice to a critic of the President during a time of selling a war to the public?! Then there's those crazies in Hollyweird - Arnold, Clint Eastwood, Mel Gibson, the late Sonny Bono. And don't get me started on the college professors - everyone knows how much power they have. I read a letter to the editor written by one in my own home town newspaper!
Control of the white house and congress barely stands a chance against these all-powerful, liberal America-haters.
And that's why I'm angry.

Comes from ten years of political discussion via personal denigration.
We don't debate points any more. We just speak to fellow travelers about what thieves, whores, idiots, racists, and treasonous bastards the Loyal Opposition members are.
Conservatives are amazed at how angry liberals are. Liberals are amazed at how angry conservatives are. Maybe we should stop being amazed - we already know the reason why it's so.

Oh, and, Daddypants, I doubt the right time to say "they're mad because no one ever agrees with them anymore" is right after "they" won most election contests across the country, including the CEO spot. It sounds of self-hypnosis.

Conservatives aren't angry.
Its not like they are setting up little cultish blog sites to whine and snivel about how they are getting their asses kicked in politics and the media, while America's global leadership is supplanting the organized crime that is the UN.
They're too busy conquering the world. (Usually thru torture.)
Angry? Hell, as long as the Haliburton checks and tax cuts keep coming I'm a happy guy.

lets agree on this, the forum for a real discussion over why conservatives/liberals are so angry/whiny will not be a lefty blog, so don't kid yourself. Find a common ground and try again for real if you mean it. Otherwise you're just wrapping yourselves in Irony/Moral Rectitude... and fighting with swords and shields. Kids, Mom's gonna get fed up eventually and blow you out of the water, or Dad is gonna take off his belt and start the whipping, do you want to see your brothers and sister get hurt?
